Standard Practice For A 125cc Moped For Racing

Philip looked around the yard at the motorbikes in question. He knew she was right and that his little 50cc moped would need some serious care and attention, and he was the only man to do it.
 
Kate looked at the exhaust on her larger motorbike. The heat had built up during her journey, and it was clear that parts of her 2 wheeled machine were was very hot. She would not be able to work on it for some time. I wouldn't be able to change the oil or do much with this bike for quite awhile she said; “So if you like, I can give you 15 minutes of my time while my engine cools down. That's the trouble with these air cooled 500 CC road hogs, they do build up heat very quickly not like your lovely little 125 CC scooters that seem to be able to go on forever before heat becomes an issue!.
 
Philip put his bike on the kickstand and began to wonder who do not which held the oil sump. He put an old takeaway tray underneath and the dirty oil drained away. He then open the valve at the top of the engine and put in some cleaning fluid. The engine itself gurgled and bubbled as the cleaning fluid went through the various aspects of it's mechanics. It is only a 125cc bike but it certainly did get some use. Philip used to ride it at over 50 miles an hour wherever he went, and often road for hundreds of miles a week.
 
Kate took the dipstick ready as Philip put in the new oil. Being careful to close the lower oil sump valve before he did so. After about half a litre Kate tested a dipstick and found it was at the bottom edge of the tolerance rating as far as the depth of oil for 125cc moped was concerned. Peter put in another couple of glugs of 4 stroke oil and then the dipstick measured exactly the right amount of oil for the motorbike in question.

She carefully placed it in the parking provided and then have a look at the main engine block to see if there was any damage. The Pistons seemed perfectly intact although there had been some grit and grime build-up around the housings.
