 Quite by accident, C.R.C. researchers stumbled across a highly
 effective defense against acidic attacks. They discovered that the
 same substance used to treat low pH chemical industrial waste could
 be produced inside a cyborg's systems. The Caustic Neutralizer was   
 designed to work in conjuction with the body to produce a liquid   
 alkaline acid-neutralizing fluid made up of concentrated sodium     
 hydroxide. The liquid is generated by the implant from the body's own  
 natural resources and secreted in a thin coating onto the organic or 
 synthetic dermis of the cyborg.
