Boot

The whole game is rebooted periodically, which resets everything back to its original state. All players are forced off, and may reconnect after around 30 seconds. At this point, if it is a normal boot, there is usually a bootrun race to gather the best equipment from around the mud, especially unique or semi-unique equipment.

Boot times are listed with the uptime command, which shows details about the current boot and also when the next 5 boots will occur (along with showing any special boots that are coming up)
