Jedi
The Jedi is rooted in the idea that George Lucas planted in the cultural consciousness 30 year ago.
Learning the ways of the Force can lead the Jedi down many paths.
Like many religions, the Jedi once passed down their teachings from one generation to the next through apprenticeship. Yet as years crept on, and the limitless power of the Force manifested itself in unending forms, the Jedi needed to find another way. And that way too, came through the Force.
Taking a piece of themselves, each Jedi Master learned to store their knowledge in complex crystals, preserving all that they had learned of the Force and its use. These ancient crystals, preserved through the ages as the greatest of all Jedi treasures, are our only link to the past. Now, upon the fall of the Empire and the dawning of a new age, the knowledge of the ancient masters needs to be relearned to help rebuild the galaxy and maintain the peace. We've turned full circle, and the Jedi are needed once again. Come, sit with me. We'll listen to the teachings of times long past and learn to once more awaken the power of the Force within us.

The Force
"The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, it penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together." By Obi-Wan Kenobi
Sense
Your skill in sensing the Force represents your ability to sense the Force about you. You can feel the bond between all living things and understand how each is interconnected.
Control
The control skill measures your ability to control your own inner Force. It gives you control over the functions of your own body as well as providing you with a natural link to the world around you.
Alter
The alter skill is a measure of your ability to change the Force within other people and objects. By channeling the force you can move and lift objects, assist others in controlling the force or even altering the very makeup of an object.
Paths
There are two paths down which a student of the Force may travel.
The Light Side
The Light path links a Jedi with the world around him, placing him in harmony with the other living things, helping others and keeping the peace.
Jedi
The tradition of the Jedi is the most well known of all the Force wielders in the galaxy. They are known for their wisdom, strength, and dedication to keeping the peace throughout the stars.
Jensaarai
The Jensaarai are perhaps one of the most interesting stories of Jedi lore. The Jensaarai were born from a small praxium of Dark Jedi near the end of the Clone Wars. They learned more of the Force and its use, training themselves as would the Jedi, and passing on their knowledge to those who could wield the Force. But in all those years, they used their powers to hide and evade, or as a last resort, to defend themselves. Thus, when they finally became known to the Jedi, they were not students of the Dark Side any longer, but rather powerful wielders of the light.
Teepo Paladin
One of the many Jedi traditions is that of the followers of Teepo. Long before the Clone Wars ravaged the Republic, in a time when the marvels of technology were advancing faster than society could keep pace, a Twi'lek Jedi Master named Nars Teepo stood before the Jedi council for judgement....
His crime? He believed in the use of technology to assist the Jedi in keeping the peace.
In those times, with society being eaten from within by moral decay, the Jedi looked upon technology as akin to the Dark Side. It was quicker and easier than traditional methods of doing things, no matter what the application: medicine, transportation, construction, and of course, violence.
A Jedi Master in exile, Teepo took his ideas and his dedication to the Jedi ideals to the outter rim of the Republic. He continued to bring the peace to the worlds he frequented. And he continued to teach the ways of the Force....
The Dark Side
The Dark Side of the Force is the corruption of the Light path's harmony. Those who travel the Dark path are driven only to dominate the world about them, spreading deceit and corruption.
Dark Jedi
Just as the Force has a light and dark side, so must the greatest of traditions be split by the light and the dark. There are those who turn their knowledge of the Force to gain personal wealth, fame, power or revenge. Those are the draw of the Dark Side, and the Jedi becomes corrupted by it.
Sith
The Sith were an ancient race of primitive beings on the far rim of the galaxy. After the first great Jedi war, the Dark Jedi flead from the cleansing forces of the Jedi to the far sector of space where the Sith lived and conquered them.
The result was a different means of using the Force, even darker than that which the fallen Jedi had brought with them.
Dathomir Witch
Ages ago, the Jedi Council banished a Jedi Knight to the harsh planet Dathomir. The wild world was to be her sanctuary, the place where she could search her soul away from the Republic and once again find the path of the light side.
As centuries passed, the knowledge of the Force was passed from mother to daughter, for the rituals taught them by the first Jedi mother were really methods of using the Force to ensure a daughter was conceived. Their society evolved into a matriarchy, for though centuries passed, Dathomir became no less wild, and the power of the Force to tame the beasts of the jungle was still needed to survive.
The witches of Dathomir exist today, having survived the tests of time in their primitive society.
Krath
At the dawn of the second Sith war, students of the the ancient Sith Lord, Freedon Nadd took their incomplete knowledge of the Sith's ways and formed the cult of the Krath.
The dark magics which Nadd's spirit taught his students proved to to be too much for them. It warped their minds, twisting them into callous husks of their former selves who were only interested in toying with the lives of others for their own amusement. They turned their mastery of the Dark Side to petty cruelties, often with lethal results.
