Jewels of various types can be found in the mines of the crafting guild. These jewels appear randomly during the mining process. Additionally enchanters can 'prospect' the raw ore from the mines in order to search for additional hidden jewels. Prospecting destroys the ore in the process and there is no guarantee that any jewels will be found.
