Anti Mage mobs are all Tensor's creation. And contain extra code on them to specifically make the mob much more challenging, or even impossible for a mage to kill.

Nearly every mob with top tier items in Ravenloft and the Ant Caves is antimage.

What this means specifically

The mob in question will either be Fire, Ice, or Energy immune, or perhaps all three. Energy because of the old offensive spell Disintegrate, that was once the highest offensive spell. Fire and Ice to cover Incinerate and Frostbite, the new(er) top end mage spells. The fire and ice immunities are much less common than energy, because of the huge affect this of course would have on the much larger non-mage population of 3K.

For other guilds this affects, haha! You got jipped by proxy!

The mob in question will also automatically destroy summons. The number of summons per round depends purely on Tensors whim, and how anti-mage he wants the mob to be. There are of course many degrees. Its not so much that these mobs destroys summons, but destroys any non-player that attacks it. This includes such things as priest summons, polymorphed mobs, and even creatures created by items.

These mobs, some of them, can also deal addhp damage, in various flavours, addsp, and in some cases these drains will even heal the target. The degree of these kind of attacks depends purely on the mob. Higher up you go, obviously the harder it is coded to be.

Most anti-mage mobs are harder for summoners than they are for Evokers, but can also provide interesting challenges for a select few other guilds.

Obviously the Addhp/Regen etc cause issues for all players.
