Description
Der'Thalas is a large and dangerous forest, found in the western extremities of the basic ravenloft area, to the southwest of George Weathermay's loading point. It contains multiple sub areas such as the Der'Thalas Keep.
This area is dangerous!
Don't even try unless you know you can handle multiple aggressive hunting creatures that attack primarially in edged and blunt damage. Most of the undead creatures in this area are weak to cold based attacks. In the approximate centre of this area is a bottleneck in the map that contains several treants. This is somewhat of a boundary line. Beyond this point, the creatures get more serious. Elven Hunters live here, and they range from 98k to 260k in size. They hunt, have four attacks per round, and are reguarly in groups. They will hunt all over ravenloft, and sometimes beyond.
The sinkholes prior to this are of interest to those who can handle it. 200k Vampires that all carry bags, and occasionally Der'Thalasian equipment. In the bags are often Ring of Regeneration, that can occasionally be of use.
