  CYBORGS :: Performance Monitor
This is a page devoted to my (Pelonza) explorations and recording of wrangling data.

At the bottom of the page you'll find my entire data set, sans-mob names (possibly to

come later). I've included general area suggestions for different gem sizes, as well

as "windows" for the correct values. I hope this helps people some, I'm open to suggestions on improvements for this page. (or if you want to edit the "formating/display" feel free...)

=Some Explanations=
+
  This implant gives access to the 'perfmon' power.
Each gem size has a minimum and maximum fill size. This is solely based on subjective data collection on my part. I've indicated how many data-points contribute to the numbers. The "cracked" numbers help give an indication of what range you might be ok 'overfilling' to.

It has been suggested to me that you can fill a gem to '110%' before cracking. If you take the fill values listed on the main wrangling page, this seems about right.
+
  In-game Bonus: Shows effectiveness of current Implants

It has also been suggested to me that the gem quality affects how much over you can go. My data does not seem to support this strongly (though perhaps a little). I do have qualities recorded for most gems, and may add them when I add mobs (to individual gems)

  brain                              brain
A general note/suggestion. While I hate to see lots of big people headed there, topping gems off with Wayhaven Students/Scholars/Librarians is very convenient since there is a variety of sizes, and they are (usually) fairly plentiful. This becomes more necessary at higher gem levels.

Librarians ~18-20k

   [[Category:Implants| ]]
Required: ~12.1 - 13.5

These I primarily filled in R'lyeh on deep ones.

Midget One: ~.5-3.5k

Deep One: ~4.5k-7.5k

3-Legged One: ~9-15k

Huge One: ~10-30k

Spawn: ~8.5-20k

As you can see, these vary a LOT in sizes, so if you don't have a way of looking at your class from the last kill this will be a bit more challenging (though still possible with gem %'s). On the other hand, there are a lot of variety of mobs here, so you can top off any gems you partially fill without leaving fairly easily.

If you get lucky you can one-shot fill this size gem with a 3-legged one. But you DO run the risk of cracking it if it happens to be an exceptionally large 3-legged one.

==Gem Level 5-9==

Required: ~24-26.6

I actually filled this entire level in R'lyeh as well. See above notes.

It actually becomes slightly more challenging since now it generally takes at LEAST two mobs to fill a gem.

Occasionally a HUGE Deep one will do it in one shot, but you can also crack a gem with them. More often I did a HUGE one, and then either a 3-legged or deep one +midget to finish them off.

Alternatively, the Rabbit Fields in fantasy provide a very nice set of ~15k (Vicious Rabbits), ~20k (Vicious Badger/Guardian) and ~30k (Big Vicious Rabbits) mobs. This is also a great place to come back to top gems off on bigger sizes.

==Gem Level 10-14==

Required: ~47.8 - 53.5

I got bored in R'leyh. Wandered the mud.

Some options:

Fill in level 2/3 of the Chaos mines. Takes a few mobs, but convenient while mining.

Daemon Guards in Pandemonium ~24k, takes 2, sometimes a little more to top it off.

Wexsmuk in Serinth, Minotaur Guards are ~44-50k

   These were disappointingly often just a bit small, and I didn't experiment much with them (I started hitting trying more on the next size).

==Gem Level 15-19==

Required: ~76.4 - 85.4

Ok, now we're starting to hit some serious mobs (for me, sorta). I mostly filled these with 2-3 mobs.

If you don't mind cracking them, head to Wexsmuk, you'll fill em with 2 guards per, and crack every one.

Other options are the Elven Forest (~32k mobs, with some bigger ones which can fill in one shot or crack or be just short)

Also, very convenient for these are Fire Giants (~28k) takes 3, but fairly consistent mob size.

Another place to try for 2-mob fills would be D2 Nightmare. Here you'd fill all your gems with one mob from D2, then take it and top it off other places. We'll see D2 again soon...

==Gem Level 20-24==

D2 Nightmare is your friend. It's perfect for filling gems with 2 mobs. Thornbeasts, Shamans, and (normal) Rogues are 2-shots.

Occasionally you can get lucky and fill it with a tainted, (but you'll more likely crack it), or a ghoul and a devilkin (again, more likely to crack em).

=Raw Data=

The following is literally the raw data I have in my excel spreadsheet. I have more written down, but it's not input yet, and didn't seem relevant to the primary need of having "windows". It is worth noting that not ALL of the gems recorded here are necessarily in the average/min/max etc ....there were a few points that seemed like wrong outliers, and may have been recording mistakes on my part that I tossed out. Take it for what you will, hopefully this has been helpful.

 CYBORGS :: Performance Monitor
 The C.R.C. has long recognized that giving Cyborgs the tools to fine
 tune themselves is a valuable addition. With this in mind, they created
 the Performance Monitor to allow a Cyborg to determine the optimal
 defensive systems they should use in any particular scenario.
 This implant gives access to the 'perfmon' power.
 In-game Bonus: Shows effectiveness of current Implants
