Overmax is a term used to describe a state where a players current Hit Points or Spell Points are greater than their natural maximums. For example:
If a player has 10/10HP, they are said to be at full health. However, if a player is at 15/10HP, the player is said to be overmax.
This can occur for a variety of reasons.
- Some guilds provide players with a means of routinely obtaining overmax health (ie: Juggernauts, and Priests).
- Some items on the mud will also heal a player above maximum.
- Some wizard's boons will grant players overmax health or spell power.
Overmax is limited to 5x max HP or SP. For example, a player with a max HP of 10 could not overmax above 50HP.
